Masterclass Series On Investment Promotion, Sustainable Development And Recovery
This masterclass will help Investment Promotion Agencies and other institutions with a mandate in investment promotion and facilitation to address the challenges posed by the current COVID-19 pandemic. The Masterclass Series on Investment Promotion, Sustainable Development and Recovery will offer a platform for dialogue for peer-to-peer exchange between IPAs, supported by international specialists experienced in trade, investment and development.
This online event which will be held between 24 August–26 September 2020 is organized by WAIPA, UNIDO, ILO and UNCTAD.
Staff of investment promotion agencies and other government officials with responsibilities in investment facilitation, e.g. from Ministries of Foreign Affairs, of Trade, Commerce, planning and finance. Access is limited and prior online registration is required.
The masterclasses will be conducted online through webinars. Participants will have access to the ITCILO ecampus providing for reference material and opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas via discussion forums linked to each topic. The masterclasses will be conducted in English language.

- Responsible business conduct and enterprises
- Innovation and technology
- How to harness the private sector in the response to COVID-19
- Experience and knowledge sharing by IPA
